Terms & Conditions

By applying for a portait commission you are agreeing to the following

Features of the contract can not be changed without ‘studio memoria’ writing up a new contract. This may or may not incur a charge at the companies discretion.

A non refundable deposit of £40 is required for all commissions on a payment plan, this is to cover materials and prep. Final payments are due before artwork is sent.

Studio memoria has the right to end any contracts if payments on payment plans are not kept up to date and is under no obligation to provide artworks for those contracts that have been cancelled. (please note that if you are struggling to make payments , we will always try to negotiate new payment plans or come to some resolution that avoids cancelling contracts first, so please reach out in the first instance so we can try and work something out.)

Although we try to keep clients up to date with the process and listen to and try to adjust to feedback along the way, please understand that it might not always be possible to make changes to the artwork once the process has started. So please make sure you discuss everything you would like at your commission agreement. By continueing you agree to have no expectations that requests for alterations will be met. (but you are always very welcome to ask!)

You will be advised of deadlines and timescales at your commission agreement, you are acknowledging that sometimes things don’t always go to plan and may take a little longer or even be a bit quicker. Please be patient whilst I am trying to find my routine as a new business owner.
